Do you let your dog on the sofa? Well this is something that I recently asked on social media, you know, just because 😃 Well that’s not quite true: in fact, when I do dog photoshoots in the studio in Kidderminster I often get a chair or sofa out and take some cute photos of the dogs on them and every time I ask, “Does your dog go on the chairs at home?” and the answer is always, “Yes!” which is lucky as I don’t want to be the one responsible for leading your dog astray or anything!
To be fair, when we had a new leather suite at home, we decided not to let Rusty (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) on the seats anymore as that was part of the reason we were getting new chairs – he destroyed the leather by scratching it trying to get comfy, like it was a blanket … Grrrr. Well, it’s been a couple of years now and I’ve started to relax a little, mainly because I would catch him out if I sneaked into the room and found him snoring on a chair. So now he’s got his own special blanket (it’s got his name on it) and he’s only allowed on the seat that his blanket is on – which sort of works, most of the time 😃
Well it was a pretty unanimous response on the social media front, with nearly everyone allowing their pet on the sofa, which then started another debate about them being allowed on the bed 😂
So now I know most of you allow your best friends on the sofa, I won’t feel so bad letting them do the same in the studio. Below are some of the pet photos I’ve taken in the Pet Photography Studio in Kidderminster and I must admit, they always look cute 😀
